Sunday Promotion Checklist

  • If you haven’t yet… Play The Big Invite 2020 Promo Reel [Resources Section] in church Sunday!
  •  REMIND:
    • Remind church to keep inviting and praying toward the big day. Include reminders about the 7×7 prayer cards. (Want to start the prayer campaign this week instead? Here’s a 4×4 card.)
    • Keep your Big Invite announcement slides showing in your announcement slide deck.
      • TIP: customize the text on the PowerPoint slides to let folks know where the stacks of various resources are located in the building for pickup.
  • Give out the invite cards. Put your invite cards to be picked up in strategic locations around the church, places you can easily announce.
  • Distribute yard signs.
  • Announce your door hanger campaign and distribution date, decided earlier. See Quick Start Guide section.
  • Keep in your bulletin or program from last week:  position the announcement for the Easter services as an opportunity to invite and bring unchurched friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and classmates.
  • Make sure some part of your sermon reflects the urgency of the Gospel and the opportunity Easter brings for people to be saved.
Other For This Week
  • Check up on the progress of any items or updates around your church related to Getting Ready for Guests.
  • This week, record a Facebook promotion video inviting them to Easter.

Groups Mobilization Checklist

  • Organize your follow up team.  Follow-up team can consist of existing church ministry leaders, deacons, group leaders, etc. Preferably you would have your Sunday School or small group members following up because those are the connections we want guests to make.
  • Remind your team to make effective follow up the priority!
  • Set a date and time for a New Believer/Member event soon after Easter. This is a 1- to 4-week class designed to connect new believers and those interested in finding out more about the church.

NOTE: You can download a new member class model here.
