A Couple More Weeks! Careful To Stay On Track!

Sunday Checklist!

  • If you didn’t see Dr. Levi Skipper’s “Easter Sunday Do’s and Don’ts” Video last week, watch that now.
  • Remind church to keep inviting and praying toward the big day. This is the “Super Bowl Sunday” of Christianity!  Keep your announcement slides showing in your announcement slide deck. Keep encouraging folks to pick up and hand out their invite cards.
  • Insert something akin to the following statement into your bulletin/program, and bring their attention to this section of the bulletin during the service today: There are Easter posts on our Facebook page that contain all the information about our Easter services. We will post more this week.  Please hit the “share” button a few times this week and hundreds, if not thousands, will see and be invited! A little “sharing” goes a long way to bringing others closer to Christ this Easter! Thank you for doing your part!
  • Remind them to go to your church Facebook page and click “share” on posts related to your big day.
Other Items For This Week
  1. Continue your Facebook boosted posts on your church Facebook page.
  2. Send an email to your database of church members asking them to invite their friends, family and contacts.
    • [Download this editable document, which contains an editable invitation email you send to your members and attenders. This sample content also includes an email which your members can email out, having cut-and-paste content to make it easy for them to do so.]
    • Do this EARLY IN THE WEEK!

Groups Mobilization Checklist

  • Check to make sure your groups have planned social gatherings.
  • Pastor, share with your people where you plan to attend a social gathering and that you are praying for someone to bring on Easter.
  • Encourage all church members to be praying for someone to bring on Easter — likely someone they wrote on their 7×7 Prayer Card.
